I’m passionate about building innovative and scalable cloud software solutions that empower businesses to thrive in the digital age. My expertise lies in Ruby on Rails platforms (SaaS), serverless architectures, service-based architecture (when it makes the most sense), containerization for deployments, and automated CI/CD processes to keep it all moving.

From Solo Founder to Leading Cloud Solutions

The consultancy began in 2018 with a vision: to bridge the gap between complex business challenges and cutting-edge cloud technologies. Starting as a solo endeavor, I focused on helping small businesses migrate to the cloud. I quickly recognized the transformative power of cloud computing across industries and evolved the focus to become a full-service cloud software development consultancy.

From humble beginnings working out of coffee shops around San Diego, I’ve built a proven track record of delivering successful projects. While many projects began with just me, as the scope and complexity of projects increased, I’ve built and managed dedicated teams of developers to ensure successful delivery. This scalable approach has allowed me to successfully deliver over 25 projects across diverse sectors, including healthcare, e-commerce, employee benefits, and industry regulation.

I am Colin Ross, Principal Software Engineer - A Lead Cloud Architect with 15+ years of experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions. My approach combines deep technical expertise with a pragmatic understanding of business needs. From initial architecture and core development as a solo founder, I’ve scaled project delivery by assembling and leading high-performing teams as needed.
